Until recently, manufacturers were more concerned about video than audio. Today, television speakers provide great sound, but that can be lost when put in the wrong room. The size and shape of a room can dramatically change the way you hear things.
Picture quality: The image quality is often the key issue for buyers. The number of pixels will determine the image quality, but more than 750 pixels per square inch is just hype. Your eyes often can not seeno benefits to a screen with a higher resolution.
Price: Plasma TVs and LCDs are competitively priced. So the only choices are; what can you afford? And will the TV last long enough to justify what you paid? Certain models have been know to burn images into the screen. Leaving the TV unwatchable within a few years. If you are going to spend a large sum of money on a television set, you want to make you get your money’s worth.
Size: You do not want to put a 50” TV set into a 100 square foot room. You will be too close to enjoy the images properly and your eyes will get sore.
